All banana farmers should have the Global Gap certification to apply as our provider
All bananas are Non-GMO
Each farmer must comply with the checklist created by the company for each type of banana as appropriate: organic, conventional, conventional Rainforest, Baby Food, and Baby Food.
Each farmer should comply with annual on-farm reviews from the Agricola and Quality department, which evaluate process quality criteria such as: cleanliness, good manufacturing practices, use of permitted chemicals, pest management, waste management and banana transportation.
All providers must comply with the social security contributions to the Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social and the Instituto Nacional de Seguros.
ISO 9001 Certificate: Certification of the Quality Management System, which seeks to satisfy the needs and expectations of the interested parties in relation to quality.
ISO 14001 Certificate: Certification of the Environmental Management System, a certification that allows companies to demonstrate their responsibility and commitment to environmental protection through the management of risks and waste resulting from their activities.
ISO 45001 Certification: Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification. It provides a framework for improving safety, reducing risks at work and improving the health and well-being of employees, enabling organizations to actively optimize their work, health and health indicators.

Costa Rica Essential Certificate: a country brand certificate. The organizations undergo an evaluation protocol that covers five values: Sustainability, Excellence, Costa Rican Linkage, Social Progress and Innovation.
Halal Certification: Halal and Hashem are two Arabic expressions for what is permitted and what is not permitted, respectively. For a product to obtain halal certification, it must comply with the rules dictated by Islamic law for food consumption.
Eco-LOGICA Organic Products Certification: Legal and industrial standards of quality and safety to process organic products giving a correct traceability. Its purpose is to guarantee the legitimacy of organic products, offering credibility to the consumer, as well as protection and access to the producer.
